Are You a Slow Reader?

Children growing up in the Internet age view information in a different way, and that shift in mentality has impacted the way people read. I know I have felt it: As a kid, I could easily immerse myself in a book for hours without thinking anything of it, these days I feel an impulse to check my Twitter feed or email every so often to make sure I’m not missing out on the constant flow of information.

I’m as guilty of it as anyone, but I think the research is worth looking into.

What do you think? Should we be slowing down?
