I didn’t read enough this month to break things down into categories. I read way less than last month, both because things got busier at work and because I was sick for a chunk of the month and didn’t feel like doing much other than sleeping. Hopefully I’ll get back on track with reading and reviewing in March. I’d like to believe that this month will be healthier and warmer.

  • I have Deb Caletti’s Stay on it’s way to me in the mail! This will be my first book of her’s that I’ve read. I heard it’s sad, but I’m still looking forward to it. What did you think of Other Words for Love? I have that book as well, just haven’t picked it up yet.

    • I’ll be reviewing Stay at some point, probably a little closer to the pub date. It was definitely a dark, tough read at times, but really good!

I enjoyed Other Words for Love, but wasn’t totally blown away by it. I think all the hype I saw for it maybe made me expect a little more than I got out of it. It’s worth reading, and the historical context is interesting, but it probably won’t be on any of my favorites lists for the year.
