  • I think it’s important to note that pranks and hazing are two very different things in spirit, but that the actions can sometimes look similar. I think that talking and reading about them together can be a helpful way to open up a dialogue about what differentiates the two.

    I’d be particularly curious to hear about what stories readers recommend for having that conversation with teens (and adults) about what makes pranks (which are typically fun-spirited) different from hazing (which is generally demeaning and mean-spirited).
