Just said to my husband, “Wow, I have a book friend who’s doing better than me at reading! I’m only at 10 for the year and she’s done a book-a-day so far!” His reply “Well, we’re going to have to take care of her.”
HA!
Way to go on the reading list! I fell behind when I had to go back to work and was expected to WORK all week. So rude.

Oh no! I’ll be watching my back…
I’m going to slow down when I have to work more hours, too. I will also eventually give up on book a day and read some longer books; it’s necessary if I want to diversify and read more adult and nonfiction books.
