Waiting on Wednesday: Fall for Anything

When Eddie Reeves’s father commits suicide her life is consumed by the nagging question of why? Why when he was a legendary photographer and a brilliant teacher? Why when he seemed to find inspiration in everything he saw? And, most important, why when he had a daughter who loved him more than anyone else in the world? When she meets Culler Evans, a former student of her father’s and a photographer himself, an instant and dangerous attraction begins. Cullen seems to know more about her father than she does and could possibly hold the key to the mystery surrounding his death. But Eddie’s vulnerability has weakened her and Culler Evans is getting too close. Her need for the truth keeps her hanging on…but are some questions better left unanswered?–From Amazon

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating. Fall for Anything by Courtney Summers and St. Martin’s Griffin will be released on December 21. I love Summers’ writing, but I’m also a sucker for dark books that deal with suicide. This isn’t much outside my comfort zone, but it’s the kind of book I KNOW I’ll enjoy. Plus, if you watch that trailer and look at this cover how could you NOT want to read this book? They’re gorgeous and haunting and eerie and mysterious. I’ve been practically salivating over this book for months now, and I can’t wait to hold it in my hands!

  • I love the cover for this book, but I’d like to read other novels by Courtney Summers first. 🙂

  • I could stare at this cover forever. Anybody know what else the designer has worked on? Where’s That Cover Girl when you need her? 😉

  • Yay! It should be easy to find out once the book is actually released, I’d imagine. I just don’t know where to find that info without actually having the physical book in front of me.
