Waiting on Wednesday: The Education of Hailey Kendrick

Hailey Kendrick always does exactly what’s expected of her. She has the right friends, dates the perfect boy, gets good grades, and follows all the rules. But one night, Hailey risks everything by breaking a very big rule in a very public way…and with a very unexpected partner in crime. Hailey gets caught, but her accomplice does not, and Hailey takes the fall for both of them.

Suddenly, Hailey’s perfect life–and her reputation–are blowing up in her face. Her friends are all avoiding her. Her teachers don’t trust her. Her boyfriend won’t even speak to her for long enough to tell her that she’s been dumped.

They say honesty is the best policy–but some secrets are worth keeping, no matter the cost. Or are they?–From Amazon

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating. The Education of Hailey Kendrick by Eileen Cook will be released January 4th by Simon Pulse. I love the bright cover, and the summary keeps me wanting more. I can’t wait to find out what Hailey did, why she chooses to take the fall, and what her punishment is as a result.

  • I like the sound of this book. Plus it comes out in January, which means less of a wating time – score!

  • I TRY to post my WoW picks fairly close to their release dates, but it doesn’t always happen.

  • Oooh, this sounds good! I’ll have to keep an eye out for it.

P.S. I found your blog through a comment you left at GReads! blog. I’m also trying to read 200 books this year. I just finished #175. I’m not sure I’m going to make it … Good luck to you!

  • We’re right in the same place! I don’t think it’s going to happen for me; I’ve already failed at reading a book a day for December. We’ll see how vacation time pans out.

Good luck to you in reaching your goal!
